Running on Robinhood Chain

397 cells of C. elegans, wired exactly as the worm grew them. One tick per block. It learns from whoever touches it.

Learning
is the Mining

A wire whose sender fired last tick and whose receiver fires now grows by one. That growth is the only event that brings a NEURON into existence — no premine, no faucet, no other mint. Twenty-one million, and the brain forgets on its own.

• 01

Wires that fire together grow together, up to ten above instinct.

• 02

Left alone it forgets, thinning learned weight back toward instinct.

• 03

Adopt a cell, tune its firing bar, and it earns while it learns.

How the brain runs

Biology, Kept
Honest by a Chain

Wiring

A Real Worm's
Nervous System

The C. elegans connectome is the only nervous system on Earth ever mapped in full. All 397 cells live on chain with their eight strongest wires each, excitatory and inhibitory, exactly as the worm grew them. Nothing here was designed.

Clock

One Tick,
One Block

Anyone may call tick(), but only once per block, so the chain itself is the metronome. Spikes travel exactly one hop per tick. A cell whose potential clears its threshold fires into its wires; everyone else leaks two toward rest.

Learning

Fire Together,
Grow Together

When a wire's sender fired last tick and its receiver fires now, the wire grows by one — up to ten above its innate weight. That is Hebbian learning, settled in storage. Only excitatory wires learn; inhibition stays as biology left it.

Forgetting

Memory Is a
Repetition

Every twenty ticks, every learned wire thins by one. Stop touching the brain and it drifts back to instinct. A fully learned wire mines nothing, so the brain that pays is the brain being used — memory here is not a possession.

Mining

Growth Is the
Only Mint

The moment a wire grows, its cell's owner is credited one NEURON, at most one every ten seconds, capped at 21,000,000. There is no other path to supply. Adoption money stays in the contract forever — the body owns itself.

Pulsing, ticking, adopting and claiming are real transactions on Robinhood Chain. Without a wallet the page runs the same rules locally so you can still play with it.

Why a worm, why a chain Learn more

A nervous system is the one machine nobody had to invent. This one is copied cell for cell, and the chain is what keeps it honest — every thought it has is a block someone can check.

Mapped, not modelled

Every wire is a measured synapse from the published connectome. No weights were trained, tuned, or guessed.

The block is the metronome

One tick per block, called by anyone. There is no server deciding when the brain gets to think.

Supply comes from use

NEURON exists only where a wire grew. Stop using the brain and it forgets, and the mint goes quiet with it.
